Intensive Outpatient is recovery that meets real life. You go to work, you take care of your kids, you keep your apartment — and you come to our Pasadena estate three to five times a week for intensive clinical programming. Most IOP sessions run three hours; we offer both morning and evening tracks so the program can fit around the rest of your obligations.
IOP isn't "rehab lite." It's a serious clinical commitment — group therapy, individual sessions, psychiatric care when needed, drug testing, and close monitoring of your recovery progress. What it isn't is the kind of program that takes you out of your life. For clients who've completed residential or PHP, IOP is the natural step-down. For clients whose addiction doesn't require 24-hour care, IOP can be a starting point.
Out-of-network options and private pay welcome. Verification takes about an hour.

Standard outpatient is typically one hour of therapy per week. IOP is 9-15 hours per week of intensive group and individual programming. The clinical depth is much closer to PHP than to traditional outpatient.
Most clients attend IOP for 8-12 weeks. The exact length depends on clinical progress, insurance authorization, and your individual recovery goals.
