Partial Hospitalization is the in-between level of care — more intensive than IOP, less restrictive than residential. You spend your days at our Pasadena estate getting the full clinical programming experience, then return home in the evenings. For clients with stable housing and a supportive environment, PHP can replace residential entirely. For clients stepping down from residential, it's the natural next phase.
PHP days at Elijah's House mirror residential days in clinical depth — the same therapists, the same groups, the same meals. The difference is you go home at night. Many clients prefer this; sleeping in their own bed while still receiving full-day care helps the lessons of treatment integrate with real life.

PHP runs 5-6 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Most clients can't maintain a full-time job during PHP — but many manage part-time work in the evenings or take FMLA leave for the duration.
Yes — PHP is covered by most major insurance plans. We're in-network with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, UMR, UHC, and Optum. Verification typically takes about an hour.
You need to be able to commute daily. Most PHP clients live within 30 minutes of Pasadena. We can also help you arrange supportive sober living near our estate if you're coming from out of area.
